On Monday, our group was split into two teams. Both groups went to different schools on a mountain where we did community service projects like yard work, mending fences and organizing classrooms. One of the groups went to classrooms and some of the youth got an opportunity to share their testimony with the children and they were presented with the gospel.
The natives here are very reserved, so we ask for prayer that God will open up their hearts and their minds, and that He will provide openings to share the good news on a deeper level.
Then on Tuesday, one team walked around and did street evangelism. We walked from hut to hut, sharing the hope and grace that we have through Jesus. We were able to share and lead four people to Christ! The second group went to a local school and shared crafts and testimonies with the kids. They also met a Panamanian teacher who lived in Leesburg, Florida for eight years. What a small world we live in!
