On Saturday night, we joined Pastor Moy at one of his neighborhood services.
There were about 46 people there. It was set up in the front yard of a church member.
With loud speakers whistling we sang, prayed and worshiped the living God in two languages.
Our kids acted out the story of The Prodigal Son and Pastor Skipper was able to share how we are all lost. He explained that we are both of the sons in the story. The son who squandered all that he was given and the older son who was jealous of what his brother had. But the father in the story is Christ who opens his arms and welcomes us all. We simply need to acknowledge our sins and ask for him to forgive us.
As the children sat quietly and played with dolls and listened the adults focused on a time of worship and teaching from their Pastor.
It was a great night. No, it was a great day with brothers and sisters who all serve the one true God!
