It’s hard to believe it’s our last day here. Tomorrow we fly to the capital and then to Boston. Through the wonders of time travel we leave at 8 a.m. and arrive at 2 p.m. on the same day! We are yarping that the storm in the northeast will be over and cleaned up.Today we say our last difficult good-byes–a special local friend, a new American friend we met by “chance” and the wonderful teachers. We have a welcome back party this evening for them, so please lift up this opportunity to share with them again. We are so thankful that C&S were so willing to help host the party and clean up afterwards so we can get some sleep before our 5:15 a.m. pick-up.
It was so nice to be able to reconnect this week with the different families, teachers, and students as everyone returned from the break. They all really have become family to us so it has been like a family reunion.
We have loved getting to know C&S, showing them around this amazing city, and introducing them to the wonderful people they will be working with. We are so thankful that we’ll be leaving the work in capable and loving hands. We know you will lift them up as you have us during the last 3 months.
