Time in Prayer

Time in Prayer

We went to a chapel today to pray for about 3 hours.

Below you will see some stones with names on them, which we used in a time of prayer, along with strips of paper from a box. Linda B. actually pulled out a strip that she had  prayed over last year.  The strip says, “5/5/17 – FBC Leesburg – prayed over” in Linda’s handwriting!

We also finished up writing our cards of encouragement which we placed in about 130 bags for families, couples, and singles.

Teamwork made the dream work! We could not have done it without these guys. We wrote cards and packed bags for 17 families with kids, 66 singles and 21 couples. We had to make three tables. A great bunch came by our pod after dinner to receive the bags. They were so appreciative. It was like Christmas in August!

The Lord has really blessed. Lots of prayers have been prayed. Friendships have been formed and will continue just like last year. We have all been invited to three different pods for small groups in the morning and a cultural worship in the evening.  God is so good!
